People are constantly looking for new innovative ways to make money online. Whether it’s by selling a product or offering a service, the internet is full of digital entrepreneurs trying to get a piece of the global market. This has inevitably led to the emergence of some seriously weird side hustles. For example, in 2020, one of the internet’s most notorious figures, Belle Delphine made headlines across the world for bottling and selling her bathwater online. While you may wonder who would buy such a gross product, Belle, who was 21 years old at the time, stated that she had made £10 million by doing so. Not surprisingly, this has resulted in an influx of such individuals who are willing to sell anything for a quick buck online, including a woman known for selling toenails.
How a Woman Made Her Money Selling Toenails Online

Only five years ago, the world was still shocked that someone could make money by selling their bathwater. However, now it seems to be quite a common occurrence, with people such as Latiesha Jones making a decent living doing so. Not only does she sell her bathwater, but even sells her spit and toenails. Currently studying to become a doctor, Jones has had to find various ways to pay for her studies. This includes starting an OnlyFans and working as an exotic dancer. While working at the club one evening, a man offered Jones $270 for a pair of her stockings. After realizing that certain people would pay good money for things she had worn or even anything that came from her body, she started selling her spit.
Believe it or not, people were willing to pay more than $2,000 for a single vial of her spit. Jones currently earns around $6,700 every week, with foot-related services being most commonly requested. She stated that her biggest requests were “Anything foot-related and any kind of sweaty item like clothing, gymwear, and any kind of lingerie, underwear, whatever.” Additionally, she also has customers who buy her toenail clippings. While that sounds disgusting, what they do with the toenails is even more disturbing. According to Jones, one of her customers grinds her toenails up and shakes them onto his food like salt!
She Also Mentors Others

Jones clearly has no regrets and even mentors others within the online fetish community. In an interview, we said that, “I feel like I’m doing that with women now with our community, I am still helping the women because I’m opening them up to doing something safely that they would not have known about before.” She went on to add that she is simply helping these women earn money in a way that they would not have done before. Jones also said that people sometimes ask her whether it is unsafe to sell items that could be used to frame her for a crime.
After all, detectives are always looking for biological evidence to find a culprit. Some even go as far as to warn her that they could use her DNA to clone her. Yet, she points out that people are always selling personal items such as clothing on sites such as eBay. “You might leave your sweat on there. You might leave something on the clothes that you necessarily know of,” she added. While it may definitely not be something everyone may be comfortable doing for a living, Jones does not seem to be doing too badly for herself. In fact, since starting her new line of work, Jones was able to buy her own house and take care of all of her debts.
Other Weird Side Hustles

Besides selling toenails, spit, and bathwater, Jones has several more weird side hustles. Every six to eight weeks, she removes her braids and posts them to one particular customer who likes to smell them. She even adds a card, sealed with lipstick that reads, “Hope they smell as good as they looked on my head.” Even stranger than that, she has previously sold her earbuds and foot masks online. Somehow, she has managed to turn a profit on used objects that most of us would simply throw away.
While it may seem rather gross and absurd to many people, if there is a market for it, there is money to be made from it. Many people are currently struggling to make ends meet and have very few resources at their disposal. Yet, with just a little ingenuity, some entrepreneurial people manage to find ways to earn a living. While it might be a bit spicy for some, for others, it is just the right spice they are looking for. In this case, that spice would be salt made from ground-up toenails bought from a stranger on the internet.
